TERRIBLE have the weekf been to our fair City in thif year 2000 of the Imperial Calendar. The ruined ftreetf teem with human wreckage and far worfe befidef, fhould the rumour-mongerf and foothfayerf be believed! To venture beyond the wallf is already the preferve of the Mad and the Defperate, the Greedy and the Damn'd.

The great rufh of Adventurerf is not yet ceafed, and many reportf have reached the Gazetteer that men from af afar af MARIENBURG, that great Port and Mercantile powerhoufe are arrived in fearch of the Wyrdftone that lief fcattered around the ruinf.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: the news has travelled far and wide, and many would-be adventurers have flocked to the haunted ruins in search of gold and glory. When hiring new Henchmen, you may reduce the cost of the first (and ONLY the first!) new hire after each game by 1d6 GC.

SPECIAL RULES: in each game from now on, you must use the RANDOM HAPPENINGS chart, re-rolling any result that you cannot represent. The streets of Mordheim are getting more dangerous by the day...

SCANT few dayf have paffed fince the Comet, thought by many to be the Return of the Divine Sigmar, haf inftead deftroyed our belov'd City, bringing death, deftruction, woe, and horror to the Streetf and People of Mordheim. 
 
Our own Elector Count haf not been Seen fince the Great and Terrible Eventf of New Year'f Eve, bringing rumourf of hif Death, or fome other Ille happeningf to hif Illuftriouf Perfonage!
 
Already, many report fuch thingf as a Rain of Fish, fuch as thofe one may Find at the market or indeed upon the quayf of our great river port; but otherf talk of STrange happeningf - a ftory has reached the officef of thif Great and Trufted Gazetteer that in the Poor Quarter facef can be feen upon the wallf, and at night they Talk, whifpering fortunef and lief in equal Measure.
 
Prieftf of Morr and of Sigmar warn furvivorf to remain within the placef of Safety that are being fet up around the City Wallf, and to look to your Prayerf and your Soul in thefe timef. The Gazetteer reportf that infide the City there are Stirringf of Life, and if the wilder rumourf have any Semblance of Truth to them, dark thingf...

Thus during this Campaign Round, every warband will find +d3 pieces of Wyrdstone during the Exploration Procedure (pg 93 of the rulebook).
